ExpoMate

Terms of Use

Last updated: July 7, 2026

1. Scope

These terms of use apply to the use of the website expom8.com (the "Website"), operated by Sarah Herrmann (expom8), Ahornweg 40, 86391 Stadtbergen, Germany. They apply exclusively to visiting and using this website, not to the conclusion or performance of contracts for the ExpoMate software itself — separate contractual agreements apply to that, concluded individually with customers.

2. Nature of the website

This website serves to provide information about ExpoMate and to enable contact via the contact form provided. Inquiries submitted via the contact form do not automatically constitute a contract. A contractual relationship regarding the use of the ExpoMate software only comes into existence through a separate, individual agreement.

3. Copyright and usage rights

The content published on this website (text, images, graphics, logos) is protected by copyright. Reproduction, editing, distribution, or any other use beyond the limits of copyright law requires prior written consent.

4. Availability of the website

We endeavor to provide the website as uninterrupted as possible, but we do not guarantee constant availability, error-free operation, or uninterrupted accessibility of the website.

5. Liability

We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and in accordance with the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are only liable in the event of a breach of a material contractual obligation (cardinal obligation), the fulfilment of which is a prerequisite for the proper use of the website and on the observance of which the user may regularly rely — in this case, liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract.

6. External links

This website may contain links to external third-party websites, the content of which we have no influence over. We accept no responsibility for this external content; the respective provider of the linked page is always responsible.

7. Privacy

For information on the processing of personal data, please see our Privacy Policy.

8. Changes to these terms of use

We reserve the right to adjust these terms of use as needed, for example due to further development of the website or changes in the legal situation.

9. Governing law and jurisdiction

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany apply, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). To the extent permitted by law, the place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with the use of this website is the operator's place of business.

10. Severability clause

Should individual provisions of these terms of use be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
